partiesIt is literally pouring here in Melbourne today, so I thought what a better day to share these gorgeous shots from our recent photoshoot with you.

Light My {candle}
partiesI’ve just stumbled across these very gorgeous candles. The poketo! 5 minute candles, designed to look like an ordinary book of matches but inside there are 10 small candles. You can light the candles whilst attached to the book or break them off to put on a birthday cake or cupcake. How sweet would these be for a small wedding or birthday favour?

Beautiful {boxed} Invitations – Coming Soon!
alannah rose new designs, partiesI’m so excited today as I can finally give you a sneak peak of our gorgeous new range of boxed party invitations! Launching in March through selected retailers, the range consists of 20 delicious designs suitable for children’s parties, christenings, baby showers and celebrations.
We’ll be unveiling the full range in March, but for now here is a sneak peak of the photoshoot we did with the very talented Pru at Little Bird Photography.
The styling was done by the talented Prue of Gigi&Lulu who is a dear friend and creative wonder.
We used some gorgeous products for the shoot and I’ll be unveiling some more images in the coming weeks and how to create the look for your next party.

lifeIt’s a gorgeous sunny day in Melbourne today, perfect weather for showing off your beautiful diamond rings.
Engaged and already married, I’m very blessed to have some beautiful jewelery, but that’s not to say one can’t wish for more. Enter the Tiffany Celebration Rings. Perfect for celebrating and remembering life’s more important moments.
The Tiffany website has a wonderful little tool that lets you create your own stack – a little dangerous, but fun none the less. This little stack will set you back oh, somewhere in excess of $68,000, umm honey… I’m worth it, really. (I know you read the blog… xx)

On My {pinboard}
inspiration boards, lifeI finally got around to finishing my pinboard project last week, I’ve had a canvas and fabric sitting around for months!
The board itself was easy to make, just a plain canvas (in my instance it was one I painted a while ago and did a terrible job of!) a piece of fabric stretched over the top and tacked at the back, some ribbons, pins and pegs.
The contents are what’s inspiring me at the moment, and bits and pieces that I’ve received that I like.
The theme at the moment seems to be black and white, vintage and pretty birds!
Pin boards are a great idea for on the go projects, if you’re getting married why not dedicate one to your wedding details, you can add or take things off as you go along, ditto for planning a kids birthday party. I like being able to see things at a glance, rather than sifting through piles of paperwork!
